Share a Pattern helps you discover crochet, knitting and sewing patterns. Patterns, photographs and instructions remain the property of their respective rights holders. A listing here does not transfer those rights.
Free to access is not the same as free to reuse
A Free label describes access to a pattern at its source. It does not grant permission to redistribute instructions, sell copies or use the designer’s photos. Paid patterns may require payment on the designer’s website.
Follow the original pattern’s terms
Before downloading, sharing or selling something you make, check the license and any conditions on the original pattern page. If the terms are unclear, ask the designer directly. Use Get Pattern to visit the source.
Sharing a pattern here
Submit a link to the original source, give the designer credit and only upload an image you own or have permission to share. Keep the original instructions on the designer’s website.
Something doesn’t look right?
If a listing uses your work without permission, use Report on its detail page or contact us. Include the listing URL, the original source and a short explanation so the issue can be reviewed.
